Program Manager, Corporate Engineering, Google
Minnie enjoys delivering technology to make life easier and give people the gift of time. She is a Program Manager in Corporate Engineering at Google, specializing on Contingent Workforce Management. Minnie started out as a Systems Engineer at Ayala Systems in the Philippines after graduating from Ateneo de Manila University with a Computer Science degree via a full-tuition scholarship. She moved to Singapore to develop applications for an IBM subsidiary, then took part in developing DHL’s Shipment Control System. In 1994, Minnie relocated to Silicon Valley where she worked as a software engineer for Sun Microsystems before it was acquired by Oracle. After 13 years at Sun, Minnie joined Apple to manage projects for HR Systems. A very persistent recruiter convinced Minnie to work for Google, where she enjoys the perks and work-life balance that allow her to spend time with her husband, daughter, and Siberian Husky.
