Mary Ann Bautista is one of the founding members of the “Filipino Professional Network” (FPN), which is an Employee Resource Network at Cisco Systems, Inc. She leads the Communications Committee for FPN. Mary Ann has been in Cisco for 16 years, spanning roles such as IT Analyst, Business Analyst, and currently as a Business Architect in the company’s Operations Architecture organization. Before Cisco, she was in the insurance industry, as a Business Systems Analyst at various private insurance companies, and as an Associate Insurance Rate Analyst with the California Department of Insurance. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing Management from De La Salle University, Manila; and a Master’s in Science Degree in Management, with a Specialization in Information Technology, from Kaplan University. Throughout her career, she completed a number of certifications: the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter Certificate with the American Insurance Institute; Certificate in Business Analysis from George Washington University; Gold Certified Business Architect with Informatica; Advanced Program Management from Stanford University, and most recently, in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as an Agilist from the Scaled Agile Institute. She is also a Visiting Professor at DeVry University’s College of Business and Economics. Mary Ann lives in Manteca, CA with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading books, travelling, and spending time with family. Her passion is lifelong learning and adding value to her family, friends, colleagues, and students. She constantly strives to develop herself, be it in technical skills or soft skills. She is member of the John Maxwell Team, an elite organization providing certification and professional services in coaching, teaching, speaking, and leadership training.
