Marian Catedral-­King

Public Affairs Field Manager, Northern California and the Pacific Northwest,  Chevron

Marian Catedral-King is the Policy, Government and Public Affairs (PGPA) DS Representative for Chevron in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon and Alaska). She provides public affairs and communications support to Chevron’s Downstream business which includes community relations and strategic community gift giving.

She came to the United States in 2006 on a developmental assignment with Chevron as Global Representative of PGPA Downstream.  Prior to her US assignment, Marian was Manager of the PGPA team in Chevron Philippines, also known as Caltex.  Her experience in communication management covers: public relations, community engagement, marketing communications and employee relations.  She and her team have won local and international awards for Chevron Philippines on community engagement and communication management on various programs they launched.

Prior to entering corporate life, Marian worked for the Philippine Senate (under former Senator Rene Saguisag), the Department of Tourism and the President’s Committee on the Bases, Office of the President.

She obtained her Social Science degree from the University of the Philippines Baguio City where she majored in Psychology and Political Science.

Marian is a proud member and a past President of Chevron’s Filipino Employees Network.  She represents Chevron in the board of San Ramon Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a Board Adviser of the  Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association (APAPA) Tri Valley Chapter.
