About our Topic
Filipino Americans are sometimes referred to as “the invisible minority.” Despite being the second largest Asian American ethnicity, they seem to receive little recognition in American culture and society. While more and more Filipino-Americans are entering the workforce with outstanding credentials and achievements, the number of Filipino-Americans in senior leadership positions has remained low. Hence the term “glass ceilings” or “bamboo ceilings. How does one break through the cultural barriers in order to excel in the mainstream America?
Join us in this inspirational evening as we bring you some of the Filipino-Americans who had made it through the mainstream America. They will share their insights and career advice, including how you can overcome cultural barriers to be successful in achieving your goals.
Whether you’re a professional, entrepreneur, or college student, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
ADMISSION IS FREE, but we appreciate any DONATION.
This event will be videotaped at the facilities of DingDing TV and streamed online.
